Jose Mourinho Calls Out The Premier League Management For Their ‘Incompetence’

Jose Mourinho has gone on an acidic rant down on the English Premier League.

Apparently, the Tottenham boss is still pissed up with how their game versus Fulham was called off last Wednesday, with only three hours left before kick-off due to Covid.

It is alleged that the league’s superiors knew about the positive tests that were turned in by Fulham a day before the game was meant to be played.

And Jose, in typical Jose fashion has called them out for the late call.

“It felt unprofessional. When I was coaching the Under-13s and U15s 30 years ago, sometimes we go to the game at 9.30am and the opponents were not there.

“Or sometimes you arrive on one of the rare Portuguese rainy Sundays and the referee didn’t report. Almost the same happened to us — almost arriving at the stadium and not playing. We were preparing ourselves for that match and we didn’t play — and that is disruptive of what is a week of work.”

“The day before, the press was full of the game is going to be postponed. Even foreign players were coming to me saying that in their own countries the news was very clear that the game was going to be postponed.

“And myself, as their boss, and Mr Levy, as my boss, we couldn’t tell them anything.”

Jose also took a dig at the management’s irregularities about having both Manchester clubs start the season a game later than the rest.

Sideaction’s Latest:

United and City both have a game in hand after a prolonged break due to their late European engagements of last campaign. Mourinho feels that has already given his rivals an upper hand on the title this time around.

I do not blame him, Jose for his take on the manner of the postponement if that’s the case.

Maybe the league management were incompetent there. For not informing them this game will not hold, but rather had them go ahead with their preparations.

Tottenham had a chance to move within four points of Liverpool before that postponement. Now, they are seven adrift. Jose’s really fuming about it.
