It Appears As If LaMelo Ball is Renting out His Rolls Royce

An NBA rookie contract isn’t all that great apparently, as it appears as LaMelo Ball is renting out his Rolls Royce. A reporter asked LaMelo about his first purchase with his new rookie contract. Ball responded by indicating he’s still waiting to make his first purchase with that money.

“I don’t spend my NBA money,” Ball said, via ESPN. “I’m smarter than that, man.”

Ball signed a rookie contract with the Hornets worth about $35.6 million over four years via Forbes, though only the first two years and $16.1 million are guaranteed.

That makes you wonder why LaMelo is renting out his whip.

See the post below:

“S/O to Charlotte Hornet’s @melo for Allowing Me To Be Chauffeured In #HIS ROLLS ROYCE CULLINAN!!!!! BIG ENERGY‼️‼️ It Wouldn’t Have Been Possible Without Exotic Car Salesman @dc_staylowkey ‼️”

So not exactly sure why LaMelo is letting other people use his car. Was that a favor for a friend??

Hard to say for sure,  but you’d like to think LaMelo doesn’t need cash that bad he’d be renting out his car.
