HBO Gives First Look At New Space Jam Movie With LeBron James

LeBron James will have another opportunity to be compared with Michael Jordan, as he’ll be the face of a new Space Jam movie. HBO gave a teaser on how the movie will look with LeBron instead of MJ as the main character.

As a Chicagoan, Space Jam holds a special place in my heart. While LeBron will never be MJ, I can’t wait for this movie. With all the new affects in this day-in-age, Space Jam 2 is bound to be a banger.

Warner Brothers first announced Space Jam 2 back in February of 2014. LeBron James will star in the film, but he’ll also be a producer in the film.

LeBron James has turned himself into quite the businessman, and even at 36-years-old, LeBron continues to grow his brand. He’s setting himself nicely for his post-playing days, and will likely remain relevant in our culture for a very long time.

Who knows, maybe James will get on the same level as Jordan at one point of his life. Space Jam 2 is just another savvy move by LeBron, and I am here for it. Hopefully Space Jam 2 can live up to the hype after keeping fans waiting on the edge of their seats for this long.
