Dwight Howard Sued By His Assistants For Not Paying Them To Take Care Of His Snakes

Newly acquired by the 76ers big man Dwight Howard is adjusting to being a role player. However, he is in the news for a completely different reason. Two women who were hired as Dwight Howard’s assistants are suing for not being paid. Armica Nabaa and Kamisha Shelman were hired by Howard in 2018 to provide personal management services. Initially, the women thought they would be handling Dwight’s business affairs and administrative tasks, but as time passed their roles multiplied. One of their new tasks, according to the suit, included caring for Howard’s exotic snake collection.

In their suit, the women say the collection is “comprised of a number of large snakes” including one named Cleopatra — “a constrictor that can grow to a final length of 25 feet and over 200 pounds.” -TMZ Sports

The difficulty for the two women is that they were fired without notice while still being owed a significant amount of money for their services. The women are demanding at least $50,000 from Dwight Howard in unpaid wages plus additional fees and damages.

This is a pretty tough look for Dwight Howard. I’m sure the women had no idea that signing up to be Dwight Howard’s personal assistant would include being forced to take care of a giant constrictor. And then to fire them and stiff them out of a boatload of money is just criminal.

Dwight Howard has yet to speak out on the lawsuit by Armica Nabaa and Kamisha Shelman.
