Steph Curry Doesn’t Sound Too Interested In Teaming Up With LeBron Despite Comments

While LeBron James is making it clear that he would love to play with Steph Curry at one point of his career, it doesn’t appear that the feelings mutual.

Earlier today, comments made by LeBron about Steph went viral. The quote came after the Lakers superstar was asked what player in the league he’d like to play with.

“In today’s game? S—, there’s some motherf—ers in today’s game, but Steph Curry,” James said. “Steph Curry is the one that I would want to play with for sure in today’s game… Right now it’s Steph.”

Steph Curry was asked about LeBron James’ comments about the possibility of teaming up together, and the Warriors sharp-shooter didn’t sound all too interested.

“Well, he got his wish. He’s picked me the last two All-Star Games. I don’t know if that suffices, but I’m good right now,” Curry replied.

Steph Curry continued his answer with some praise for LeBron James.

“Anytime you get the interest or curiosity of what it’d be like to play with arguably the greatest of all time, that’s cool, that’s amazing. We can all live in that fantasy world though,” he said.

While LeBron James had to endure the dumpster fire that was the Lakers this season, Steph Curry stayed healthy with Klay Thompson all season long, with their sights set on another ring heading into the postseason.

It’s not hard to see why Curry might not be champing at the bit to team up with LeBron right now…
