Carolina Panthers Reportedly Interested In Dwayne Haskins Jr.

Dwayne Haskins Jr. was the talk of the NFL world this week when it was announced that the Washington Football Team would be releasing him.

The 23-year-old Haskins never could figure out how to be an NFL quarterback, both on and off the field. The final straw for the Football team was when the troubled quarterback was out at a strip club, completely neglecting the NFL’s COVID protocols.

Haskins cleared waivers, because what team in their right mind would want to take on his $4.4 Million rookie contract, but teams are interested in taking on Haskins as a project nonetheless. Of those interested teams, is the Carolina Panthers.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Panthers are ‘intrigued’ by the idea of taking on Dwayne Haskins Jr.

While Rapoport claims that the Carolina Panthers have expressed interest, he also notes that they aren’t the only team that wants to give Haskins. a shot.

Haskins is still a young man, and he’ll have an opportunity to learn from the mistakes he made with the Washington Football Team.

I think Carolina would be a solid fit for Haskins. He could learn and develop under a young coach in Matt Rhule, and he’d also have Teddy Bridgewater at his disposal. Bridgewater is a pro’s pro, a guy who takes his preparation very seriously, and the perfect guy to groom Haskins.

We’ll see what the future holds for Dwayne Haskins Jr.
