Ben Simmons Reportedly Willing to Sit Out the Season

Ben Simmons is still trying to get out of Philly, and he’s so serious about not playing for the Sixers ever again, he’s willing to sit out the entire season, or as long as it takes for the Sixers to trade him. Kendrick Perkins has confirmed it when asked about the situation of Ben Simmons and the Sixers. And, although it seemed to be an open secret since the season ended, Ben Simmons will not play again, or even train with the only NBA team he’s ever played for.

“Ben Simmons is not answering the phone calls, he don’t want to be with the 76ers, and from what I heard, he’s willing not to report to training camp, and will go as long as it takes for him to get out of Philly.”

Many feel Philly’s asking price is too high, but now it’s Simmons who could hold some of the power if he opts to just skip everything and sit out until he’s traded.

Unfortunately this position Simmons is allegedly taking will make it even harder for the Sixers to trade him. They want value in return, but no one wants to play ball.

Simmons might have shot himself in the foot.
