The Kyrie Irving petition to be arrested is real. The fans in Boston are not fans of Kyrie Irving, that much is evident. A fan chucked a bottle of water at Kyrie over the weekend, and the fan in question was hit with a felony charge, and could face some time behind bars if found guilty.

Now it appears Celtics fans are fighting back, and they’re pointing to a Kyrie incident from back in the day.

A Celtics fan was recently arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for throwing a water bottle at Kyrie Irving. November 6, 2018 an annoyed Kyrie Irving threw a basketball into the stands after losing to the Denver Nuggets. If 21-year-old Cole Buckley was arrested after allegedly throwing a water bottle, Kyrie Irving should be too.
Here’s the video of Irving throwing the ball into the stands:

So far nearly 500 people have signed the petition.
Very creative response from Celtics fans.
