Aaron Rodgers Will Reportedly Threaten Super Bowl Boycott If the Packers Get to the Big Game

If the Packers get to the Super Bowl, expect some fireworks.

Reportedly.

Former NFL Quarterback Boomer Esiason shared this morning on his WFAN radio show a text from a source who claims that Rodgers will threaten to boycott the Super Bowl.

He’s going to try to use his leverage to force the NFL to eliminate some of the COVID protocols.

Rodgers particularly doesn’t like the rule that compels testing of asymptomatic players.

Watch below:

Twitter reacted to Boomer’s scoop:

Esiason wouldn’t reveal his source. His co-host, Greg Gianotti, asked:

“Is it someone we should be trusting with their information?”

“I would, yes,” Esiason said.

This would be a pretty crazy scenario, and the way the Packers are currently playing, it’s not too much of a stretch to see them coming out of the NFC.

All of this would be moot if the Packers don’t end up in the Super Bowl.

Normally I’d be all in for the Packers to lose, but I would love nothing more than to see Aaron Rodgers boycott the big game.

Now that would be something.
