Former NFL Receiver Nate Burleson Put Amber Heard’s Lawyer In A Bodybag During Live Interview

Since retiring from the NFL, former receiver Nate Burleson has carved out an impressive career for himself.

Working on the CBS Morning Show, Burleson and his co-hosts had a chance to interview Amber Heard’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft following the defamation suit against actor Johnny Depp. He ended up winning the case against Heard, and Bredehoft is still trying to pick up the pieces.

When making excuses during her interview, Heard’s lawyer brought up how unfair it was that the case became so public.

“We had cameras in the courtroom. Not only did we have a group of Depp fans that were there every day, 100 were allowed in, they lined up at one in the morning for wristbands to be in that courtroom, but we had everything on camera, and we had tremendous social media that was very, very, very much against Amber,” she said.

Nate Burleson wasn’t having any of it, calling on Bredehoft to look in the mirror.

“I am a former NFL player, and after a hard loss, it’s easy to wake up and point to the other side. Oftentimes, I realized (that) the better thing to do was to look in the mirror. What mistakes did I make as a player? What mistakes did our coaching staff made [sic]? And then how can we improve from there.”

Amber Heard released a statement shortly after the guilty verdict went viral.

“The disappointment I feel today is beyond words,” Heard wrote in her statement. “I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence and sway of my ex husband.”

While Amber Heard and Elaine Bredehoft are out making excuses for what went wrong, Nate Burleson is gaining popularity by the second.
