Red Sox to Wear Yellow Uniforms to Pay Tribute to Boston Marathon

They aren’t called the Yellow Sox. The Boston Red Sox unveiled new yellow City Connect uniforms Tuesday that pay homage to the Boston Marathon, according to Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.net. The uniforms are inspired by the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

Evenutally all 30 MLB teams will have their own city jerseys:

Hard to hate the message behind the jerseys, but a team’s color is really the one thing that should never change.
