NFL Insider Ian Rapoport Names ‘Leader’ To Land Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr. remains a free agent. But a report on Friday has shed some light on where the dynamic receiver might end up.

During an interview appearance on Friday afternoon, NFL insider Ian Rapport revealed that he believes the Rams are the “leader in the clubhouse” to re-sign OBJ and win the sweepstakes.

“I don’t think it’s a slam dunk that OBJ goes back to the Rams,” Rapoport said. “But it does feel like they’re the leader in the clubhouse.”

After being granted his outright release by the Browns mid-season last year, Odell Beckham Jr. proved to be a pivotal piece of the Rams Super Bowl championship team.

Since he signed in Los Angeles, OBJ had 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season and 21 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns in the playoffs.

Odell Beckham Jr. was also proving to be a problem in the Super Bowl before injuring his ACL and coming out of the game.

The Rams appear to be doing everything in their power to position themselves as the dominant team of this decade. And re-signing OBJ would further their stacked roster.
