Baker Mayfield Finally Breaks His Silence Following Deshaun Watson Trade

Baker Mayfield is finally addressing his fall from QB1 of the Browns.

The Cleveland Browns former starting QB is making his first public comments since the Cleveland Browns traded for controversial QB Deshaun Watson.

Appearing on ‘Ya Never Know’ podcast, Mayfield made it clear that he felt disrespected by the Browns for not being forthright in their intentions.

“I feel disrespected — 100%. Because I was told one thing and they completely did another. That’s what I’m in the middle of right now. I’ve had 4 different head coaches in four years. A bunch of different coordinators.”

Mayfield is currently still on the Browns roster as they try to figure out a way to trade him. That hasn’t been an easy task considering how much the Browns owe him.

Mayfield finished the season with 3,010 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. But overall a very dissapointing season.

Hard to imagine Mayfield will start the season as Watson’s backup in Cleveland.
