Report: Memphis Grizzlies Are Now Interested in Kevin Durant

The Kevin Durant trade talks are heating up.

Kevin Durant is easily one of the most covered athletes in the world, and even more so when he’s looking to land on a new team. The Brooklyn Nets superstar is not happy with his current situation in Brooklyn, and now, he wants to go elsewhere. The Brooklyn Nets are very much in the process of hearing potential Kevin Durant trade offers, but so far, nothing has materialized.

With the regular season only a few months away, time to unload KD is quickly running out. Regardless of what the Brooklynn Nets true intentions are, there are plenty of teams still looking at Durant, and now we know for sure a Western Conference team has entered the mix. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Memphis Grizzlies have inquired about KD.

See Shams report below:

The Grizzlies would be an ideal landing spot for KD, as they have a young superstar in Ja Morant, who would pair up nicely with KD. Not to mention, the Grizzlies also have five first-round draft picks, which might just be enough for the Nets to get in return for their disgruntled superstar. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies will not part ways with Desmond Bane or Jaren Jackson Jr., who are two players that the Nets most likely want in return.

Like many other suitors looking to add KD, this isn’t going to be an easy deal. The Nets don’t seem to be on any timeline to unload Durant.

And around and around we go…
