Reddit User Autocorrects the NBA and It’s Fantastic

Reddit – u/Brick_Young went about autocorrecting the every NBA starting lineup and the results are fantastically entertaining. As someone who has normal words autocorrect to actual NBA player names when texting because I gamble/play too much DFS, I can definitely relate to this:

OK, where to start.

• Our very own Loughy will be dismayed to learn that Harrison “Barnyard” doesn’t autocorrect to “Barnacle.”
• “Never Your Knickers” led by point guard “Elderly Payments” is perfect.
• Gordon Hayward autocorrecting to “Gorgeous Hair” is pretty coincidental.
• “Multiple Turnovers” is actually Myles Turner, not Russell Westbrook who autocorrects to “Russians Westbound.”
• LeBron James does not autocorrect.
• Alex Caruso not autocorrecting to Alex “Awesemo” Baker is disappointing.
• I would like the Washington Wizards name to be officially changed to ‘Washing Windows.”

Forget the “NBA City” Jerseys. Let’s replace these with “Autocorrected” Jerseys. If the NBA went with sleeved jerseys not that long ago, then “autocorrected” jerseys shouldn’t be out of the question. I would buy an Ivory Zucchini Clippers jersey (Ivica Zubac).
