Bruce Arians ‘Doesn’t Give A Sh-t’ About Criticism Over Playing Antonio Brown

When Bruce Arians made the ultimate decision to sign receiver Antonio Brown last season, he was adamant that the second the troubled star screwed up he’d be gone.

So after it was revealed that AB would be suspended for using a fake COVID vaccine card to get out of protocols, many were wondering if Arians would, in fact, pull the plug on the experiment.

But after Antonio Brown posted an Instagram story from the Bucs’ facility last week, it was clear that he was coming back following his suspension.

When speaking to reporters on Monday, Bruce Arians commented on his decision to keep Antonio Brown around for the long haul.

“It was in the best interests of our football team,” Arians told reporters. “Both those guys have served their time and we welcome them back.”

Arians then sent a stern message about people who may be critical of giving AB another chance.

“I could give a s–t what they think,” Arians responded. “Only thing I care about is this football team and what’s best for us.”

No matter what Bruce Arians said in 2020, I don’t think anyone’s surprised that the Buccaneers are bringing back Antonio Brown.

During the Sunday night game, the Bucs were extremely exposed for not having weapons past Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. And now that Godwin has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, Brown’s presence will be even more needed for the team.

Bruce Arians might not be happy with Antonio Brown for lying all this time. But he doesn’t really have much of a choice but to keep him around if the Bucs want any chance of winning a championship.
