Kyrie continues to refuse the COVID vaccine, which means things are going to get ugly as the team gears up for the first week of the NBA season.
In fact, according to Alex Schiffer, his teammates are taking a wait-and-see approach at this point. Brooklyn Nets Steve Nash weighed in, pretty much pretending nothing out of the ordinary is going on.

Now we have Kyrie’s teammate James Harden weighing in.
See below:
James Harden said he wants Kyrie Irving to be a part of the team and adds he’s a huge part of what makes them scary. Hasn’t spoken to him on the vaccine, but would like to see the situation resolved. Irving has his support.

Harden was asked if the Nets can make it work with only having Irving on the road and essentially said it would be on them to figure out.

Sounds like the Nets are hoping Kyrie comes to his senses. Sure they’ll continue to publicly support him for now, but who really knows what’s being said behind closed doors.
Knowing how Kyrie operates, this is going to really become a thing as we approach NBA season tip-off.
