Was This Lebron James Play Dirty?

Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers played in their final preseason game against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night. The Lakers ended up winning, but it’s something that happened early in the game that has everyone talking.

Suns rising star Mikal Bridges fell awkwardly to the floor, and was slow to get up. After watching the replay, it appears that Lebron James sticks out his leg ever so slightly to send Bridges flying across the floor.

Social media had quite the reaction to Lebron James’ apparent dirty play.

The Lakers would go on to beat the Suns 114-113, but Mikal Bridges’s health was the main concern after the game. Luckily, Bridges took to his Twitter to declare that he was fine.

“WE GOOD OVER HERE FELLAS,” Bridges writes.

Sideaction’s Latest:

The Suns better hope so, too. They figure they can turn some heads with their plethora of young talent mixed with the arrival of veteran guard Chris Paul. They should make a big leap this year, and Mikal Bridges is a big part of that.

The Lebron James haters are out in droves every time he does something somewhat controversial, but I actually think he didn’t mean any harm on this play. If Lebron really feels the need to get dirty during a preseason game, then he would have reached an unprecedented level of scum.
