NBA fans rejoice! The NBA season will, indeed, start on Dec. 22. After much deliberation, the NBA players decided they will have a long enough offseason to get started in a little over a month. Here’s Woj with the bomb for ya.
The NBPA player rep vote has completed, approving a December 22 start/72-game regular season, source tells ESPN. Next up: NBA/NBPA finishes financial terms on amended CBA, which will take into next week. Expect trade moratorium to be lifted shortly prior to Nov. 18 Draft.

It was clear that this was the NBA Owners preference all along. There was a little bit of a push back by the players association, but the show will go on. This is a testament to how things are ran by Adam Silver and all the NBA higher ups. They get shit done. If this was the MLB, I’m sure a deal wouldn’t be in place anytime soon.
This news is music to all of our ears. With the election still at a stalemate, we needed this something good to hear right now. This means that we will have NBA on Christmas, we will have NBA in 2020, and we will have something to look forward to.
I, for one, can’t wait for the NBA Season.
