Shaq And Charles Barkley Send Message To Ben Simmons Amid Trade Demands: ‘You’re Not That Good’

The Ben Simmons saga is taking over the NBA offseason, with everyone weighing in on what the Philadelphia 76ers should and will do with their disgruntled point guard.

Simmons is coming off a dismal performance in the 2021 postseason, which has led to the Philly faithful calling for him to be traded.

Luckily for the fans, Ben Simmons is way ahead of them. He has reportedly told Philadelphia that he has no intention of joining them next season under any circumstances.

Obviously, Shaq and Charles Barkley had some comments on Ben Simmons’ desire to get the hell out of Philly.

Barkley joined Shaq on his “Big Podcast”, and started talking about how he was disappointed in the decision to request a trade. That’s when Shaq jumped in to send a stern message to Ben Simmons.

So far, it’s being reported that Daryl Morey’s asking price for Ben Simmons is way too high. But teams such as the Timberwolves and Warriors have been linked to the struggling guard.

Shaq and Charles Barkley can’t fathom that a guy who would rather leave a city than try to right the ship, but that’s where we’re at with this era of basketball.

Honestly, it’s probably for the best if Ben Simmons gets a fresh slate somewhere else.
