Russell Okung Becomes first NFL player to Be Paid in Bitcoin

Russell Okung is a bitcoin millionaire. Back in 2019, Carolina Panthers tackle Russell Okung said he’d like to be paid in Bitcoin.  Fast forward a year later and his  wish has been granted. Thanks to an app called Strike, which allows paychecks to be converted into bitcoin, Okung was able to receive half of his $13 million dollar signing bonus in Bitcoin.
