Raiders cornerback Trayvon Mullen Allowed To Return After Collapsing On The Field

Las Vegas Raider cornerback Trayvon Mullen had a very scary moment during today’s game against the Broncos.

Trayvon Mullen went helmet-to-helmet with Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant. He was standing for a second, and then collapsed onto the field.

Very Scary stuff here.

The worst part? Mullen was allowed to return to the field after this play. Someone from the NFL might need to step in here. Trayvon Mullen very clearly suffered a scary injury.

I certainly hope the Raiders medical staff went through every concussion protocol before allowing Trayvon Mullen to return to the field. If they didn’t do their due diligence this could be a very bad look for the Raiders and the NFL. Roger Goodell has been looking for ways to make the game more safe after the league has endured many different lawsuits from former players who claim that their concussions have led to CTE and other long-term mental health issues. Basically, stuff like this cannot happen right before our eyes.

I don’t know how Trayvon Mullen could have been taken to the medical tent, and deemed ok to play after collapsing on the field. Maybe I’m missing something here.

Hopefully Trayvon Mullen is ok.
