Mitchell Trubisky Throws Subtle Shade At Chicago Bears

Former Chicago Bears first round draft pick Mitchell Trubisky found a new home in Buffalo this offseason after four seasons of lackluster play under center in the Windy City.

Now that Trubisky is in a new situation as Josh Allen’s backup with the Bills, he has no issue throwing a little shade at the way he was treated with the Bears.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Trubisky pulled one of the oldest cliches out of the book by saying he’s just happy being somewhere where he feels wanted.

“It’s just really nice to be part of a great team and be somewhere where people want you here and they care about how you’re progressing as a person and as a player,” Mitchell Trubisky said.

Mitchell Trubisky has a good chance in Buffalo to learn a system that’s better suited to his abilities, while also not having any pressure on him.

In Mitch’s defense, he was drafted before the Bears brought in Matt Nagy to run their offense, and it was clear that Trubisky was never his “guy”.

Maybe he can go on some sort of revenge tour if he has a good showing as the Bills backup. I wouldn’t bet on it, though.
