Talk about kicking a man when he’s down.
Patrick Beverley doesn’t forget when someone does him dirty. Back in 2019 Westbrook said that Beverley fools people into thinking he’s playing great defense when really he is “running around doing nothing.”
Russell Westbrook: “Pat Bev trick y’all, man, like he playing defense. He don’t guard nobody, man. He just running around, doing nothing.” Made sure to note that James Harden scored 47 tonight.

Beverley was asked about Westbrook’s comments at the time, but declined to comment:
I asked Pat Beverley about these comments and he had no interest in responding. “Don’t start that, don’t start that. I don’t care about that.” https://t.co/SyxVJtLc5T

Now fast forward to this season, and Russell Westbrook’s stock has never been lower.
He’s been exposed as a poor shooter who turns over the ball way too much. P-Bev did not forget about the comments Westbrook made about him. Beverley took a funny shot at Westbrook today.
I remember when somebody said all I do is run around and I trick y’all 😂 well my boy is The Real Magician this year.

P-Bev has been waiting years to strike back, and waited just until the right moment.
No surprise Beverley decided to kick Westbrook while he’s as down as humanly possible.
