Nick Saban’s Daughter Kristen Deletes Twitter, Instagram Account After Floating Ohio State Conspiracy Theory

The college football playoffs are heating up. Alabama coach Nick Saban’s daughter Kristen tweeted that Ohio State’s coronavirus cases are just a rouse to get the game pushed back so that quarterback Justin Fields, who injured his ribs during his game against Clemson, can rest up and be at full strength when the title game is played.

She took the tweet down but followed up with this one below:

The younger Saban then set her account to private before posting an apology three hours later.

“I made a huge mistake and I apologize,” she added. “In a moment of frustration, I let my anger get the best of me and acted before thinking.”

She then apologized again:

“The tweet I posted earlier this evening was uncalled for and hurtful,”  She also deleted her Instagram account. “In a moment of frustration, I let my anger get the best of me and acted before thinking…In no way did I intend to undermined the seriousness of the global pandemic… I am ashamed and embarrassed.”

Saban’s daughter needs to stay away from Social Media for a while.

The national title game is on as scheduled.
