LaVar Ball Calls Out Pistons for Waiving LiAngelo Ball

The father of all Ballers, LaVar Ball, is not the kind of guy who isn’t going to respond when asked about his son. In case you missed the news, the Detroit Pistons waived his son LiAngelo over the weekend. He was signed to a one year non guaranteed contract. LaVar was conducting a B/R AMA session, and the topic was brought  up.

LaVar didn’t hold back.

“I definitely have thoughts on that. The people in Detroit are great. I love the fans, but the franchise over there is raggedy as hell. They don’t know a good player. I was giving them a lottery pick for free! Has the skills to play and the notoriety to bring everybody to the game. How do you throw that out the window? They’re gonna learn the hard way. My boys are gonna end up together playing somewhere. ‘Gelo can shoot the lights out. That was raggedy what they did. But hey, they’re gonna learn the hard way.”

Raggedy as hell is an interesting choice of words. Leave it to LaVar to always keep things interesting.

LiAngelo played in the G League with the Oklahoma City last season. It might be the G-League for him again if he really wants to make an NBA roster.
