Shannon Sharpe Getting Rightfully Trashed For His Awful Giannis Antetokounmpo Take

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has a tall task going up against a Phoenix Suns team that is currently firing on all cylinders.

Phoenix took care of Giannis and the Bucks pretty handedly in Game One, winning 118-105. With the Suns getting off to a hot start against the Suns again in Game Two, FS1 host Shannon Sharpe took to Twitter to share an opinion on Giannis Antetokounmpo.

“Giannis needs to improve his conditioning,” Sharpe said. “He only plays in 5-6 minute stretches.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo obviously suffered a knee injury last week. And it looked like he was going to be out for the remainder of the postseason.

Thankfully for the Bucks, he’s playing. And he’s giving the team everything he has.

Fans swarmed Shannon Sharpe’s post with heavy criticism.

We’ll see if Shannon Sharpe ends up walking back his comments about Giannis Antetokounmpo.

It feels like maybe we should give the guy a break, being as we just thought he had a serious knee injury. He’s also trying to put his team on his back, and will undoubtedly lead the Bucks in scoring in game 2.
