Lakers Team Forced To Separate Anthony Davis And Dwight Howard On Bench

The Los Angeles Lakers are already falling apart just two games in to the NBA season.

Coming in to the season as one of the favorites to win the NBA Championship this year after landing some key big names in the off-season, the Lakers have fallen flat in their first couple games.

The Lakers Lost 115-105 at home to the Phoenix Suns Friday night, and the whole Lakers team seemed frustrated. Team mates actually had to pull Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard apart after the two started pushing each other on the bench during a time out.

This is definitely not a good look for a team who is dealing with over-the-hill superstars with no picks or young players to truly develop.

The Lakers went all in this off-season trading several pieces to acquire 32-year-old All-Star Russell Westbrook. Unfortunately, the team has not jelled well in the early going.

Westbrook posted 15 points, 9 assists and 11 rebounds last night, but it still wasn’t enough for the Lakers to beat the Suns.

Rumors are swirling around the league after the Westbrook experiment is off to a very slow start. Everyone can understand that it will take time for a ball-hog like Westbrook to be integrated in to a team with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but many expect the Lakers to make more moves if the team continues looking this bad.

Everyone knows that LeBron has no problem trading away ‘his’ team to mix it up at the deadline.
