Lakers Reportedly Considering Adding Isaiah Thomas to the Mix

The Los Angeles Lakers have pretty much overhauled their entire roster after not being able to repeat, and now it’s being reported, they may be interested in another NBA veteran. Isaiah Thomas has been lighting it up in a Summer league, and an NBA reunion still could be in the cards for the free-agent point guard.

The Los Angeles Lakers have considered signing Thomas using one of their open roster spots, The New York Times’ Marc Stein reported Wednesday.

The Lakers, among various free-agent candidates they are still considering, have weighed the potential signing of Isaiah Thomas, league sources say.

To further the speculation, LeBron tweeted his support of the ex-Celtics guard Wednesday.

Thomas was reacting to a video clip of him getting emotional after scoring 81 points in a Jordan Crawford’s Seattle Pro-Am league.

He responded to LeBron’s message:
