Kyrie Irving Denies Taking Shots at LeBron on KD’s Podcast

The LeBron James Kyrie Irving beef is still very much alive and well.

Kyrie Irving spoke on a Kevin Durant podcast, and took some apparent shots at LeBron James. Kyrie said he’ll now have someone else he trusts who can make shots too for the first time in his career.

One thing I’ve always been comfortable with is, I’ve felt like I was the best option on every team I’ve played for down the stretch. This is the first time in my career where I can be like “that motherf***** can make that shot, too.”

Kyrie also recently took some shots at his new coach too.

Irving denied his latest comments had anything to do with LeBron:

“Why must it always be brother against brother? Why?” he wondered. “If I’m addressing anyone, I’ll say their name.”

“Don’t listen to the false narratives, let people live their lives,” he continued. “It’s just a game. Talk about the art, talk about the sport, we talk openly, we talk freely.”

He then went on to say media was “entertainment” and he wouldn’t “let it put me against anybody, anymore, at any point.”

Kyrie Irving must be the most misunderstood athlete. Either that, or he doesn’t even know what he’s saying. Does he not realize that his comments clearly throw LeBron under the bus?

Kyrie should just stop talking until he can get back on the court, and prove he’s still worth listening to.
