Kevin Durant And Draymond Green Take To Social Media To Clap Back At Haters After Gold Medal Win At Olympics

Team USA won 87 – 82 over France in the Gold Medal game at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Kevin Durant and Draymond Green took to social media early Saturday morning after their Gold Medal Win.

Team USA was extremely criticized after losing their first game of the tournament to France which lead many analysts and fans to doubt that this team had what it took to win gold. KD and Green made sure that they called out many of those analysts in their rant following their win.

Durant is well-known for his interactions across social media and is not shy from speaking his mind. One of my favorite lines was probably Draymond jumping in and telling “Kendrick Perkins, you talk a lot of shit”, and to “act like you’re American.”

At the end of the day, while Team USA may not have had the perfect record, they were still able to go on and bring gold back home. While there was plenty of doubters, saying that this team didn’t play like a ‘team’, they were able to pull it together and show exactly who was the top dog in the fight.

Team USA brought home their fourth straight Men’s Basketball title.
