Reports Continue To Indicate Tiger Woods Might Give It A Go At The Masters

The buzz surrounding Tiger Woods at this year’s Master tournament continues to grow.

Last week, it was rumored that Woods may be trying to play — given that he didn’t have his name on the list of players not participating, such as Phil Mickelson.

Over the weekend, pictures of Tiger Woods trying to walk 18 holes at his hometown golf course surfaced. And today, a report indicates that the GOAT is serious about trying to get his body to a point where he feels comfortable playing The Masters.

“This is a critical week for @tigerwoodsto see if his body can sustain 72 holes at Augusta National. He will exhaust every effort to play @TheMasters,” The Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis said on Twitter.

Tiger Woods has not competed in a PGA event since his single-car crash from last year. But perhaps The Masters provides the perfect opportunity for him to make his return to the sport he’s dominated for so many years. After all, it’s walking the fairways at Augusta National where we’ll have lasting images of Tiger’s career.

For the most part, I’d think it’s still a long shot that Woods will be teeing it up in just a couple of weeks. But the fact that he’s even trying proves how driven he is.

We’re all hoping to see Tiger Woods competing in The Masters. And we’ll continue to track all updates on how he progresses over the next week.
