Kelly Oubre Takes a Parting Shot at the Suns

Kelly Oubre Jr. is now a Golden State Warrior, which officially ends his time in the desert. Oubre Jr. had a parting shot for Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver on the day he was officially introduced as a member of the Warriors.

Oubre was asked how it will be playing for Warriors owner Joe Lacob, and a team that has no problem spending money so they can compete at a high level.

He didn’t hold back:

“You just hit the nail on the head,” Oubre said during an appearance on “Damon, Ratto & Kolsky,” on 95.7 The Game in San Francisco. “I can play for an owner — somebody who actually cares about the organization and not just the perception of the organization on the media end of it. It’s all about the foundation for me, man. You have a beautiful foundation, can build a beautiful [future].”

Oubre should have a very successful season in Golden State.  He’s in his prime, and without Klay Thompson, the Warriors will rely heavily on him to be a big time scorer next to Steph.

It’s no surprise he wasn’t a fan of Sarvers, not many players are.
