Isaiah Thomas Reveals Team He Prefers To Play For

The career of Isaiah Thomas has been eventful, exciting, and a rollercoaster. Over the last few years, Thomas has bounced around the league after being traded from the Boston Celtics to the Cavaliers. His stop in Cleveland did not last a full season, and now Thomas is currently a free agent after being waived by the Clippers.

Despite many setbacks, Thomas is fully focused on the upcoming season. It also appears he has a preferred team he would like to play on.

Assuming Thomas is in good shape and willing to accept the limited role, Golden State is quite attractive for next season. The Warriors will return both Curry and Thompson fully recovered and rested at the start of next season. To add, the Warriors will also add a lottery pick assuming they do not trade their first round pick. The Warriors also have Andrew Wiggins under contract for the next three seasons.

Even though the Warriors were a beast of a team, one of their weaknesses was bench depth at the end of 2019. Isaiah Thomas could be willing to sign a minimum contract which would be low risk for Golden State.

During the 2019-20 season, Thomas played 40 games for the Washington Wizards averaging 12.2 points, and 3.7 assists while shooting 41% from three-point range off the bench.
