Former Viking Everson Griffen Slams Kirk Cousins On Twitter

Former Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen took to social media to call out his ex-quarterback Kirk Cousins.

“@Vikings Kirk Cousins is A**. Thank you,” Griffen wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Everson Griffen would go on to apologize for throwing his old quarterback under the bus.

“I’m sorry for posting that about Kirk. It’s not right for me to call people out. I apologize for hurting him. I’m very grateful and thankful,” he wrote in a follow-up post.

Sure, Everson Griffen was probably in the wrong for lashing out at Kirk Cousins on a random day, but there has to be something bad going on in Minnesota. Serious question, do any of Kirk Cousins’s teammates like him? You’ve heard Adam Thielen throw some shade, Stefon Diggs demanded a trade, Justin Jefferson was caught on a hot-mic cussing at him, and now Everson Griffen speaks out against Cousins.

The guy is a pretty terrible quarterback, but it’s even more crazy if you think about how many times he’s been bashed by his teammates. He must be a pretty unlikable guy. I gotta say, it is pretty easy to hate the guy that continues to get massive contracts just to be Kirk F’ing Cousins. If I were on his team I’d probably have some problems, too.

Everson Griffen is just the latest guy to bash Cousins, and I would be surprised if he was the last.
