The man listens to Taylor Swift pregame, then goes and drops 40 pt triple-doubles in the NBA Finals, and he can pull Selena Gomez. There is literally nothing he can’t do. And his coach, Eric Spoelstra, knows it. Spoelstra highlighted why Jimmy Butler is the most unique guy in the NBA fraternity in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Not even Eric Spoelstra knows every little quirk about Jimmy Butler, but he knows he is one of the most versatile guys in this league. Spoelstra named Jimmy Butler one of the most interesting people in the entire NBA. Here’s why:

“That’s the part of Jimmy nobody knows,” Spoelstra says. “That guy in the Dos Equis commercial? Jimmy’s like a version of that guy. He’s literally one of the most interesting people in the NBA fraternity. If you talk about anything, he’s like, I’ve done that,” he said via Sports Illustrated.

Coach Eric Spoelstra knows many NBA superstars very well. He has been around guys like Shaq, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade. Yet, still, he is most fascinated with Jimmy Butler. You have to admit, Jimmy Butler is a very fascinating guy. Spoelstra is right. I mean, the man allegedly ran a coffee shop out of his hotel room in the bubble.

Even if you don’t find Jimmy Butler that interesting, there is one thing that can’t be denied. His game is elite. You better believe Eric Spoelstra and the Heat are going to make noise this year in the Eastern Conference. And I fully expect a statement year from Jimmy Butler.
