Daryl Morey Fined $50K for James Harden Related Tweet

Former Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey continues to put his foot in his twitter mouth. The new Philadelphia Sixers GM been fined $50,000 for violating the NBA’s anti-tampering policy according to reports. The 50 grand fine is a result of a Dec. 20th tweet about Houston Rockets superstar James Harden.

The tweet, which was deleted several minutes later, celebrated the one-year anniversary of Harden breaking the Rockets’ franchise assist record.

Morey told the league it wasn’t him directly posting, it was from an automated app.

Morey needs to stay off Twitter,  everything he tweets seems to cause major controversy.
