Ed Orgeron Announces TJ Finley Will Start At QB Vs. South Carolina On Saturday

Ed Orgeron has been in the news for his sexual exploits lately. Now, he’s making a bold move.

Orgeron announced Thursday that true freshman TJ Finley will start at quarterback for the Tigers on Saturday against South Carolina. The news comes as redshirt junior starter Myles Brennan continues to deal with an injury suffered in a loss against Missouri on Oct. 10.

The Tigers have not played a game since then.

This move comes as a bit of a surprise, as LSU does have four-star prospect Max Johnson waiting in the wings. Orgeron indicated to CBS Sports that Johnson will get to see the field, and this may turn into a competition.

Neither Finley nor Johnson have played at all this year, so it could be interesting to see which Freshman establishes themselves for the defending National Champions.

LSU and Ed Orgeron certainly won’t have an easy ride the rest of the way. It’s shaping up to be a steep decline from the record-setting year the Tigers had last season.
However, I still don’t think Orgeron will be paying for any of his drinks in Louisiana any time soon.
