Dez Bryant Says He’s Tested Negative ‘Back-to-Back’ for COVID-19

Former Dallas Cowboys player Dez Bryant was about to play his old team, but he was pulled from the field right before the game. NFL testing for COVID-19 came back positive prior to kickoff, rendering Bryant ineligible. That led to Bryant going nuts on Twitter, even saying he’s going to sit out the rest of the Baltimore Ravens season.

Head coach John Harbaugh spoke to reporters before Bryant’s post on Twitter.

Via ESPN:

“He’s doing as well as can be expected,” Harbaugh said about Bryant. “He’s a guy that cares. He sacrificed a lot to leave home and leave family behind. He’s a family man and has kids. I think he’s pretty hurt by it. He’s not mad at anybody. But just the circumstances, I think he’s a little stunned by it, surprised that it came up. I think he’s trying to work his way through it right now.”

Definitely strange how he got pulled. It obviously meant a lot for Dez to play against the Dallas Cowboys. At least he’s still in the NFL. Bryant should be able to suit up on Monday night when his Baltimore Ravens play the Cleveland Browns.
