Degen Bet Of The Day: Cryptocurrency Futures (Aug 1)

As habitual degenerate gamblers, we’re forced to wear a number of hats at any given time of day. Answering the beck and call of abruptly urgent live bets spanning an array of niche competitions across the world, living up to bottom-feeding has reached new heights in 2020 given the digital age of wagering at moment’s notice, regardless of COVID impact.

Shifting gears from sports bettor to stock broker has also become an evidently cool kid trend, and Saturday’s Degen Bet Of The Day should stage to be right up your alley if you’ve already embarked down that corridor of alternate endeavors.

Cryptocurrency is all the volatile rage in the past three years, and Bitcoin just reached a price of $11,111 to close out Thursday’s crypto market. Why not double-dip on the Deep Web market value with a little futures betting action?

Bitcoin (BTC) Closing Price On Sept. 1, 2020:  Over $10,500 (-125)

As the U.S. Dollar devalues these days like a brick-and-mortar investment, Bitcoin has surged to the equivalent net worth of Coca-Cola with little sign of going the opposite direction.

If the current Crypto-market trends are indicative of anything, it’s that Bitcoin and the off-brand Kirkland-style competitor currencies aren’t going anywhere but up, especially in consideration of a bipolar U.S. Stock Market that currently leaves little confidence in majority shareholders.

At the same time the house juice is a bit of an off-putting swallow to consider, the safe bet tends to always come at a premium as we do know, and the Crypto-market writing on the wall seems to be there for the taking. I’m no Mark Hanna, but if I’m looking at the ongoing bedlam in a U.S. stock market leaking confidence from every investor outside of the once-Daily Fantasy touts, I’d be looking at the future of Cryptocurrency with significant considerations.

And speaking of which, why not dive down the rabbit hole a bit further for those deeper-seeded futures investments…

Cryptocurrency Specials: Which Of The Following Leagues Will Have The First Player To Be Paid In Bitcoin? (Major Sports)

With the NBA (+200) coming in as the book favorite to flinch first at the possibility of futuristic player funding, Adam Silver’s progressive nature in leadership would be my first guess as to why his product gets the favored edge over the competition to pull the trigger on the idea first. Perhaps also because Spencer Dinwiddie may be the pioneer player to make such a contract negotiation.

The NFL comes in next at +220, but I can’t see Roger Goodell being the trendsetter for any risk invested in next-gen monetary movement. The NHL is an interesting +250 following as third-favorite, especially considering their multi-national interests drawn from countries who have been known to dabble with the digital dollars. And finally, the powdered-wigged Rob Manfred’s MLB is a distant +400, in essence insinuating you’re wasting your money.

Pick:  NBA +200…and sprinkle a little on the NHL +250
