Dan Le Batard Is Forming A New Progressive Sports Media Company To Rival Outkick

Dan Le Batard parted ways with ESPN at the start of 2021 with hopes of expanding his brand a little bit more. The TV and radio host is known for his sense of humor, and willingness to think outside the box. His newest venture will showcase all of that.

According to reports, Le Batard is teaming up with former ESPN president John Skipper are starting a new company where they will be embracing their politically liberal views.

“Former ESPN president John Skipper and personality Dan Le Batard are partnering on a politically progressive sports media company. The new venture is described as the strategic opposite of Clay Travis’ Outkick, sources told Front Office Sports. Skipper and Le Batard will build a diverse lineup of progressive sports voices, said sources. Their target list includes former ESPN colleagues Jemele Hill, Bomani Jones and Kate Fagan,” per Front Office Sports.

I think this is an interesting concept. Le Batard has been upset with ESPN’s handling of political events in the past. He’d rather be outspoken about everything going on in the world, not just sports. Now, it appears he’ll have the opportunity to do that.

I’ll give Dan Le Batard’s new company a chance.
