Cops Try to Recover Stolen Minor League Mascot

When a mascot goes missing, bring out the blue. Chattanooga Police are searching for a mascot costume after a minor league baseball team reported that its team mascot was stolen from its ballpark. The Chattanooga Lookouts told authorities that the costume of its mascot, Looie, was stolen from an office at AT&T Field on Tuesday, according to a Facebook post from Chattanooga police.

The Lookouts said hundreds of dollars’ worth of merchandise and equipment were also stolen.

Police are asking the public to help out, and are looking for any tips on the costume’s whereabouts. Anonymous callers are more than welcome according to the Police. They even handed out the a tip number if you comef across any infor. You can call: (423) 698-2525.

The Lookouts  season begins at home on May 4th, so they do have some time to recover the costume.
