Mike Tomlin Reacts To JuJu Smith-Schuster Irresponsibly Doing The Crate Challenge Right Before The Season

Mike Tomlin Has had to condemn JuJu Smith-Schuster for some of his viral antics in the past. But it appears as though the coach is fine letting his receiver’s latest criticized act go.

Earlier in the week, JuJu drew the ire of the Steelers fan base when he gave the dangerous crate challenge a shot during Training Camp.

When asked about JuJu Smith-Schuster’s crate challenge, Mike Tomlin insisted that he doesn’t pay attention to any of that stuff. But he did make a comments about adults having “individual responsibilities”.

“I don’t spend a lot of time focusing on those (social media) things,” Mike Tomlin said. “If you’re talking about those things and not football, you’re setting yourself up for failure. We’re a group that’s singularly, professionally focused on what it is that we have to do and guys have individual responsibilities as adults.”

It seems like Mike Tomlin is taking a subtle shot at JuJu Smith-Schuster here.

Throughout his Steelers career, Smith-Schuster’s presence on TikTok and other social media platforms has been criticized. And last season, Tomlin had to tell the talented receiver to stop dancing on opponents’ logos before games.

Now, it appears that Mike Tomlin is done reprimanding JuJu Smith-Schuster, but he would like the young wideout to start acting like an adult.
