Emma Stone Fell in Love With Phoenix Suns After Watching ‘The Last Dance’

Emma Stone returned to Ellen for the first time in five years, and opened up about her new love for the Phoenix Suns. The actress also opened up about how the Michael Jordan documentary The Last Dance made her realize she was a basketball fan, rooting for her hometown Phoenix Suns. Stone was spotted at a Los Angeles Lakers game last week, and when Ellen asked if this was a ‘new thing,’ Stone confirmed she fell in love with the game after watching The Last Dance.

“I watched The Last Dance with Michael Jordan, and that just … something flipped in my brain and body and I was like, ‘This is the most incredible sport,'” Stone said.

Emma Stone added that now she is a “next-level” fan of the Phoenix Suns, since she’s originally from Phoenix.

Stone added that going to the Lakers game was her “first big event,” confirming she has gotten both shots of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

The Last Dance was fantastic.
