Philadelphia Eagles Fans Throw Racist Hate At New Female Muslim Hire

The Philadelphia Eagles announced their new hires going in to the 2021 season and some fans were quick to become keyboard warriors.

Ameena Soliman was hired as a Pro Scout for the Eagles. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has been working specifically in personnel and/or recruiting roles since she was in college. Whether she was creating recruitment boards and ensuring player eligibility at Temple University, or tracking player transactions and preparing salary reports for the NFL. She has also been working as a scouting assistant and player personnel coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles since May of 2019.

The thread on Twitter is truly embarrassing to read if you are a fan of the Eagles. Your gender or race does not determine if you are a good scout or not. It is wild that people still think that this sort of behavior is acceptable considering all of the issues that the NFL and NBA have seen over the last couple years.

Eagles fans and keyboard warriors, go do something better with your time than criticizing your team for hiring a qualified candidate who has already been working in your team for the last two seasons.
