Carson Wentz Surprised His Biggest Fan Giovanni Hamilton With A Zoom Call

Carson Wentz may have been shipped out of Philly, but that won’t stop him from leaving a lasting impression on his fans. On Wednesday, Carson and his family surprised one of his biggest fans, Giovanni Hamilton, on a Zoom call with his Audience of One Foundation. Giovanni shared the video on Twitter, saying that he had no idea Wentz was going to pop up on the call until he did. Hamilton was hurt when Wentz was traded away, however, he didn’t let it keep him down. He shared a special message for Wentz on social media after learning the quarterback had been traded to Indianapolis.

“You’re still my hero, you always will be,” Giovanni said the day of the deal. “Colts fans, you really have a real one.

“He’s going to do you some good, I know what he’s capable of, I know what he’s capable of with [head coach] Frank Reich and you guys are going to go off next season.”

Say what you will about Carson Wentz on the field, but off the field it’s hard to say anything bad about the guy. His devotion to people like Giovanni Hamilton is an inspiration. Wentz is a class act and a leader and he has everything it takes to be successful in Indianapolis. And even if he lost some fans due to the trade, he will always have Giovanni Hamilton rooting for him.
