Baseball Is Back And Angel Hernandez Is Still Incredibly Bad At Being An Umpire

MLB umpire Angel Hernandez has developed quite the reputation for himself in the worst way possible. He’s simply really bad at his job. Somehow, Hernandez has been the umpire for some of the worst calls we’ve ever seen. It’s almost like he’s not even watching the game sometimes.

I’m sure Angel Hernandez is a fine guy and all, but it’s just amazing that he has never gotten any better at being an umpire after all his years in the league. Spring Training has started, and Angel Hernandez was behind the plate for the Cardinals-Nationals game. Cardinals ace Jack Flaherty appeared to throw a pitch right down the middle. Hernandez called it a ball.

Yup, Angel Hernandez still can’t shake it as an umpire. It’s pretty crazy to me that the MLB keeps bringing back umpires like Angel Hernandez who have such a bad track record.

This is why MLB players are lobbying for a strictly electronic strike zone.
