Is Dennis Schroder already planning his exit with the Los Angeles Lakers with their potential elimination game against the Suns lingering on Thursday night?

Schroder had to know that fans everywhere were going to notice (and lose their minds) when he took “PG for the Los Angeles Lakers” off of his Instagram page.

Sure enough, NBA fans flocked to social media to speculate on what Dennis Schroder might be planning for his future. Lakers fans also appear to be just fine with Schroder leaving town.

Dennis Schroder has a ton of skill, and will likely still receive a hefty contract in the offseason. But the point guard hasn’t quite been able to live up to expectations in Los Angeles.

After a lackluster Game 5 for Schroder, fans are reasonably low on him. But he can change all of that with a heroic effort to keep the team alive tonight.

It might be time for Dennis Schroder to move on after this season concludes, but I highly doubt that one subtle Instagram move necessarily means he’s already packing his bags.
