Packers Reportedly Have A Deal To Trade Aaron Rodgers After The Season

After a lot of speculation all offseason, Aaron Rodgers has arrived at Packers Training Camp. But this looks like it’s shaping up to be one last run in Green Bay before the future Hall of Famer moves on.

Fox Sports reporter Jay Glazer gave a run down of NFL happenings prior to the Hall of Fame game on Thursday night. And when he got around to the Packers, he revealed that the team has promised Rodgers they’ll trade him if he still wants out after the season.

“As for the Packers, they have about six months to repair that relationship with Rodgers,” Glazer reported ahead of the Hall of Fame game. “If at the end of this year Aaron Rodgers decides he wants out, they have to trade Aaron Rodgers. They’ve agreed to it already.”

Jay Glazer made it clear that the promise to Aaron Rodgers was contingent on him still wanting out after a full season under center for Green Bay.

For now, it appears that Rodgers’ relationship with Packer GM Brian Gutekunst is still broken beyond repair.

But who knows, maybe after a successful season Aaron Rodgers will have a change of heart.

Packers fans can only hope…
