Aaron Rodgers Seemingly Threw Matt LaFleur Under the Bus on Field Goal Decision

Green Bay Packers fans are still second guessing their head coach Matt LaFleur’s decision to kick a field goal rather than go for it on fourth down. Following the move, Twitter went all in on crushing LaFleur for his conservative decision to kick rather than try to score a touchdown.

Rodgers’ answer when asked about LaFleur’s call to kick a field goal instead of going for it on fourth down was very telling.

“It wasn’t my decision,” Rodgers said. “I understand the thinking. Above two minutes with all our timeouts. But, yeah, that wasn’t my decision.”

Rodgers may need a change of scenery.  As good as he is, it seems like something is getting in his way of getting back to a Superbowl.

LaFleur seems like a pretty good coach, his record speaks for itself, but maybe Rodgers is just not sold on his ability to make the right calls.
